At Olacabs we are revolutionizing the way ground transportation works in India. Traditionally car rentals and taxi services in India have been highly disorganized and fragmented. This has led to a very bad consumer experience and large inefficiencies. We are pioneers in bringing technology to this industry and are building a brand and a company that will be widely known and used.
The founding team is:
Bhavish Aggarwal: Co-Founder and CEO. Graduated with a B.Tech in Computer science from IIT Bombay in 2008, worked at Microsoft Research in Bangalore for 2 years after that.
Ankit Bhati: Co-Founder and CTO. B.Tech and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay, worked at an IIT Bombay backed startup Wilcom.

Responsibilities
- Engage communities on social media and planning local events and meetups
- Create passionate evangelists in local communities, both online and offline
- Write memorable content like blog articles and travelogs that get wide readership and establish our brand as one focused on exceptional customer experience and service
- Initiate and take responsibility for customer engagement programs like email newsletters etc
- Be the voice of the customer inside the company! Understand customer concerns and communicate that to our operations and product teams
Skills
- Active on social media like twitter, facebook, linkedin etc.
- Have past writing and content creation experience. Freelancing is also fine, as long as you've put your writing out there in public!
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Computer skills are essential
- Passionate about travel; Would rather free spend time on the road than at home!
- Graduate in media, marketing or PR is preferred, not essential

Responsibilities
- Developing a fast and scalable web platform to serve the whole eco-system of car rental customers and operators
- Developing intuitive and amazing mobile apps that wow our customers
- Building social media interactions into the core of our products
- Building GPS and location enabled platforms to engage cars and drivers
- Designing demand models for various geographies to ensure our supply chain is always optimal
- Build analytics and data visualization tools for key business metrics
Skills
- Proficient in PHP. Have 2 years experience in building on the LAMP/WAMP stack. Experience in college also counts
- Have knowledge of SQL
- Mobile development skills are good to have, not required
- Able to work in a team and excel
- Have the drive to work in a fast paced environment and take responsibility
- Unable to sleep till you figure out the last bug or finish the latest feature!

- Engaging with car owners, operators and drivers continuously to ensure Olacabs database is fresh and useful
