Lavassa, a hill city situated amidst the Sahyadri mountain ranges, lies between the cities of Mumbai and Pune. An artificial self-contained city, Lavassa has become a major tourist attraction in the past couple of years. Lavassa runs along the contours of the Warasgaon lake making it a perfect place to getaway. Lavassa has a well constructed and planned system of roads and pathways which makes the place easily accessible; however, to get to Lavassa, one has to resort to private cars or car rental services. Private taxis and car hires are also famous among those who travel to Lavassa often. There are plenty of tourist spots in and around Lavassa City which are best enjoyed when travelled by road and hence hiring a private cab becomes necessary for those who do not personal transport on them. Taxis on demand services are also an added advantage that Lavassa offers to its visitors.
